So much of what we do in quilting is oriented around squares and rectangles and triangles. Maybe because the geometry of curves are more challenging. But maybe you’re up for something that isn’t another rectangle or square sewn on the diagonal. The wheel blocks of Revolutions are based on sewing strips but have the amazing impact of circles in a quilt. None of the steps in this quilt require expert sewing skills; if you can sew straight and know how to get a ¼” seam allowance, you’re good to go. Tracy’s simple palette in browns and grays make it a steam-punk style quilt, but assorted colors would make it an energetic quilt with lots of movement. Pattern will be provided.
